Everyone has their fair share of stress to deal with, even if you don’t live a high powered lifestyle. Your career is generally regarded to be the biggest cause of stress, whether you’re living in the big city working from 9 until 5 (in theory), or living in the suburbs and working part time – it’s still a massive demand on your time, and can leave you feeling wound up and exhausted.
I find the best ways to relieve stress are the little things you can do every day; from reading a book, to watching TV shows, going to see a movie or relaxing in a bath; a couple of these every night and I’m ready for whatever the next day will throw at me.
Recently I’ve been finding that more exciting things are helping me to cope with the pressures of life, and as a fairly tech-savvy mom I’m getting more and more into computer games, with the thought of gambling little amounts of money enough to make me feel all warm inside on an evening. I wouldn’t gamble too much though, because debt is obviously another massive cause of stress.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you might have seen my post about bingo computer games before; I’m still a big fan of bingo, which I’ve been playing a lot of recently, but nowadays I’m also big on poker.
My favourite stress relieving activity right now is fast poker at iGame – definitely more exciting than regular poker, which I think can get frustrating while you’re waiting for the game to go ahead. You can skip the boring bits, and stop playing when you know you’re not going to win, which means that you definitely won’t have any trouble relaxing, even when you’ve got some money on the line.
