One way to do family bonding is watching movies and tv series especially during school vacation and weekends, wherein the family is complete. We are fond of watching them and make our own reviews and opinions after viewing. Usually, it is one of the topics we discuss over a meal.
We are now on the sixth season of the Supernatural TV Series. This haunting series follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers bound by tragedy and blood to their dangerous, other-worldly mission to battle demons. They are paranormal hunters.
We, as parents have to educate our children that this kind of series are only fiction with events that are not factual, but rather, imaginary and invented by its author or authors. We have to explain to them the primary purpose of these movies or tv series is for entertainment only. We are responsible to let them know these things for they might be misled or misinformed.
I, actually just enjoy watching it because of the strong brotherhood of the main characters. Their love for each other, how they give importance and value to the family is the core of the story. Their ways and strategies on how to fight demons is interesting, though we are not that much convinced if they will really work true- to-life. lol
The series stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester, Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester and Misha Collins as Castiel (the Angel). SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG (“Charlie’s Angels,” “The O.C.”), Eric Kripke (“Boogeyman”), Robert Singer (“Midnight Caller”), Sera Gamble, Ben Edlund, and Phil Sgriccia.
