Wildfox, James Jean, Citizens of Humanity

Spread the love

Wildfox designers are self-confessed rock ’n roll enthusiasts inspired by Native American art work. The result of this odd combination is an infusion of creativity and innovative designs outputting t-shirts with the capacity to dress down almost any outfit for that ‘easy casual’ look which is still hot on trend this season. Clean White is a favoured colour with over a third of their collection being so. This is perfect for summer as it looks fresh and is easy to match with other items of clothing, perhaps a pair of James Jeans…

With many different cuts including the classic bootleg, the modern super-skinny and the summery crop, James Jeans pride themselves on their unique dry aged denim, the process of which was discovered by accident after employees left the warehouse sunroof open that created a sun-bleached effect. Particularly perfect for the warm weather and spring fashion is the Chloe Crop Jean in Luna White. Being a super stretch, high-rise crop with a slim fit, means that they are comfortable but also hold in those winter pounds that are reluctant to shift. They show off your ankles so would suit heels or flats alike. It is important to have in your wardrobe some items of clothing that can be dressed up and dressed down and these crop jeans do just that.

Photographed twice in two different pairs of Citizens of Humanity jeans in the last month, Drew Barrymore is obviously a fan of the LA based denim brand. Like James Jean, the designers love the vintage aesthetic whilst being able to remain original and current. Their collection comprises of many different cuts including modern classics such as skinny, bootcut and straight, yet re-introducing the free-spirited look of the flared jean. Angle Mid-Rise, Hutton, Flaunt and Devote are just some of the flared range that are each classy and slim fitting to the thigh. Any of these would beautifully complement one of Wildfox’s t-shirts.
