Giving away tobaccos to welcome a newly born baby boy and flowers for a baby girl is being practiced in our family. It is an old family tradition that we keep which has been passed on for generations.
I am now officially a grandmother after the wife of my nephew gave birth to a bouncing baby boy recently. As per our tradition, my brother-in-law (the father of my nephew) bought two humidors filled with tobaccos to hand-out to immediate family members and relatives on the day the baby comes home, our own unique way to greet and welcome a new heaven-sent family member.
Welcome to the world Louis Tegan Alastair!
