Physical and mental health must always be in tiptop shape not only for yourself but for your family members and pets as well. Keep hydrated and eat nutritious food.

Staying well hydrated is one of the ways to fight against infections. You can add slices of lemon to your plain water for a refreshing boost. Stay away from carbonated drinks, now that you have plenty of time you can make different fruit juices for your kids to enjoy too. Drinking ample amounts of water is needed not only during the quarantine period but on a daily basis.

We all know that veggies and fruits contain a lot of vitamins and minerals that our body needs. Sources of vitamin C for instance are lemon and oranges. The most needed fiber that we need for a healthy diet can be found in green leafy vegetables. As much as possible, do not rely on eating canned goods that you have stocked up. Cook healthy meals.

Take Multivitamins.

Though we can obtain minerals and vitamins from fruits and vegetables that we eat. Health officials still recommend to take ascorbic acid with zinc or multivitamins to help boost our immune system.

Exercise daily.

Don’t be a couch potato. Take regular breaks from sitting or lying in bed. Stand up, stretch and go for a quick walk.

Teach your children how to clean the house, not only that they will learn chores but it will make their body move too.
