The Philippines annually held a cinema festival called the Metro Manila Film Festival. This year marks its 37th yearly tradition. The festival started with a joyous and colorful float parade of Filipino stars of the participating movie entries last December 24. This year, seven film entries bout for multiple awards.
The films were first showed in the cinemas on December 25 and will go on until the first week of January. As a tradition, Filipinos, together with their families watched the movies in cinemas all over Metro Manila.
